The Stones faithful had a day they’ll never forget as their side pulled off one the great FA Cup upsets.

Sam Corne bagged the winner in a 2-1 victory at Portman Road that even the most positive of Maidstone fans couldn’t have seen coming.

And the excitement proved too much for one fan who fell out of the away section and on to the sloped roof that covers the home section below after the visitors took the lead.

He proceeded to roll down before falling off the ledge and on to the Ipswich supporters.

Audible gasps can be heard in the fan footage of the incident as stewards quickly rushed to check on those involved.

There is currently no information with regards to injuries though one user on Twitter claimed the man landed on her father.

Stones were indebted to goalkeeper Lucas Covolan, who made a string of saves before Lamar Reynolds excellent 43rd-minute lob dared the 4,472-travelling fans from Kent to dream.
